RISING TO THE CHALLENGE

RISING TO THE CHALLENGE

She moved it with her mind.  The pen danced in the air in front of her face.  She had been practicing for what seemed like a lifetime.  In reality it had taken her 6 months to achieve.

Her brother was quicker than she was, it had only taken him 3 months to move an object with his mind, which didn't surprise her one bit.

She had successfully learned how to levitate before he did, and everyone knows levitation is much more difficult.  She was more in tune with herself than he was.

Looking back on that day, she was very proud.  Everyone was so excited for her.  She was the youngest person in her class to achieve it.

Her father, who never praised her, even acknowledged it!  That was the most important and special day in her life.

She wished her mother had been alive to see too.
